Who can attend the clinic?

The clinic is open to self-represented individuals, and each session focuses on one stage of your case — Petition, Financial Disclosures, or Judgment — matching the stages described above. The Petition and Financial Disclosures stages are available regardless of whether your case is contested or uncontested, and one or both spouses may attend.

Does the Judgment session require both spouses, or an agreement already in place?

It depends on how your case is proceeding. If uncontested with agreement, both spouses typically attend together — since you've both already filed paperwork, you should come in knowing what orders you want, and our software guides you through finalizing the written agreement and making informed decisions during the session. If proceeding by default, only the filing spouse needs to attend, and since there's no other spouse to work through decisions with together, they should come with the complete agreement already worked out.

What should I bring?

Bring any existing court documents related to your case, a summary of your marital assets and debts, and a valid photo ID. If you have a draft written agreement, bring that too. What happens after I sign up?

Complete our quick intake quiz to confirm your eligibility, then pay your $50 deposit and book your session date. If you'd prefer to talk first, request a call back and we'll reach out to answer your questions and get you scheduled.

Is the $500 fee due at the clinic?

A $50 deposit is required to reserve your session. The remaining $450 balance is charged in person on the day of your clinic — we'll confirm the details when your session is scheduled.

How long does a clinic session take?

Appointment windows are 10:00 AM–2:00 PM or 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, but these are the full windows during which sessions are available — not a required stay. On average, clients complete their paperwork in 2–4 hours, though total time can vary depending on the complexity of your case and how many forms or orders are involved. You're welcome to leave as soon as your paperwork is complete.

Can I book a clinic on a weekend?

Clinics can be scheduled on Saturdays per staff availability. To request weekend availability, complete our Clinic Callback Request Form and indicate your availability in the field labeled “Anything else you'd like us to know?”

What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, your deposit can be applied to a new session as long as you request the change at least 48 hours before your original appointment by emailing info@udoitlegal.com. Requests made less than 48 hours in advance, or no-shows, will forfeit the deposit. Clients arriving within 30 minutes of their scheduled start time will not be considered a no-show; after that, the session may be forfeited to accommodate other bookings.

Does my spouse need to attend?

It depends on the stage. One or both spouses may attend the clinics to prepare their divorce petition or financial disclosure documents. Couples attending the judgment builder clinic are encouraged to attend together. If only one spouse attends, note that they must come to the clinic ready and able to put their and their spouse's complete divorce agreement into writing.
