Service Descriptions & Frequently Asked Questions
A completeness check and a list of corrections, delivered by email within 2-3 business days after you submit your forms through the post-checkout intake form. We do not correct the forms for you, provide legal representation, give legal opinions, or guarantee case outcomes. Further information about our add-on services can be found in sections 2 and 6.3 of U Do It Legal's Terms and Conditions.
Consultations are limited-scope and include legal opinions on your case, but do not create an ongoing attorney-client relationship.
All sales are final, with two exceptions:
1) if a conflict of interest (see below) is identified after your intake submission, we'll refund the consultation portion of your add-on (your form review will still be completed); and
2) for RUSH services, if we miss the 24-business-hour deadline, we'll refund $400 for DVRO or $500 for Divorce, though we'll still complete your review and consultation as soon as possible. That 24-hour clock starts once we've received complete, correct court forms through your post-purchase intake form — not at the time of purchase, and not if the forms submitted are incomplete or incorrect (in that case, the clock restarts once corrected forms are received).
After you complete your purchase, you'll fill out a short intake form with your contact details and scheduling preferences — you can choose to meet in person, via Zoom, or by phone. We'll reach out to confirm a time that works for you.
Yes, up to 24 business hours before your session. Rush reviews cannot be rescheduled.
Yes — we assist both petitioners and respondents. Form reviews are available to both sides, even within the same case. Attorney consultations are limited to one side per case due to conflict-of-interest rules (see below).
Conflicts of interest apply specifically to attorney consultations — once we've provided a consultation to one party in a case, we're unable to provide a consultation to the other party in that same case. Form reviews aren't affected by this restriction.
